Warm Up This Weekend With 8th Annual Chili Bowl For Hunger Task Force

Milwaukee's 8th annual Chili Bowl returns to  Potawatomi Casino's spacious Expo Center Sunday, January 26, 2014 from 11am-4pm. More than 35+ area restaurants will compete for Milwaukee's best, sampling more than 50 varieties of chili, but only one will leave with the Golden Ladle award.

Reserve your tasting ticket and you'll be able to sample traditional and spicy chili, along with specialty chili like chicken, lamb, brisket, sweet potato, bratwurst, plus a nice variety of vegetarian chili.

So, whether your temptation is spicy, vegetarian, or traditional chili, there is something for everyone.

Children 17 and younger are welcome at the Chili Bowl with legal guardian present. Children are not allowed on casino floor.

Order $12 advance tickets and save $3 per ticket! Don't get stuck in line paying $15 at door.

Each Chili Bowl ticket includes EIGHT (8) 3oz chili samples ... that's about 1.5 lb. of chili! Plus you'll get complimentary soft bread sticks (while supplies last) from Wild Flour Bakery to dip in your chili.

Make Men's Health Month About You

The month of November is (one of the) Men's Health Month(s), popularized by the Movember movement. (June is another recognized annual event but since it is November now, November it is.) It's a great foundation, it has been successful and is highly rated for its impact. But, one thing I see with the movement is that while they speak about men's health to the participants, I feel the participants themselves promote it outwardly rather than inward, at them. I personally fell victim to that selfsame issue, but no longer. As of this November, I am taking care of myself.
