RadioMilwaukee Hosts Transportation Circus On Alternatives To Cars

Local non-profit radio station 88.9 RadioMilwaukee goes beyond being a radio station to being an organization by and for the community. Through their Community Stories, they promote other Milwaukee organizations and ways to make the city better. Tonight, they apply their mission to an event made to help people learn about the many forms of transportation available in Milwaukee beyond cars with their fun and informative Transportation Circus from 5:30PM to 7:30PM.

This free and open-to-the-public event is a celebration of Milwaukee, the public and alternative transportation options we have, and the places to enjoy it.
The event will have free beer from Milwaukee Brewing Company, presentations from MCTS, Bublr Bikes, Milwaukee County Parks, The Streetcar, Wisconsin Bike Fed and Uber, and more.

Visit the event web page for more information.

Did I say there's free beer?

Make Men's Health Month About You

The month of November is (one of the) Men's Health Month(s), popularized by the Movember movement. (June is another recognized annual event but since it is November now, November it is.) It's a great foundation, it has been successful and is highly rated for its impact. But, one thing I see with the movement is that while they speak about men's health to the participants, I feel the participants themselves promote it outwardly rather than inward, at them. I personally fell victim to that selfsame issue, but no longer. As of this November, I am taking care of myself.
